We get certified on Autodesk’s BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools

In KEN International, we promote an ever-learning and continuous professional development mentality to our employees, supporting them in this endeavor and aiding them in every way that we can. In this context, we have recently arranged for our designers, architects, and structural engineers to attend the Autodesk certification program on Architecture Engineering and Construction Collection. This certification program includes a complete training on how to effectively utilize Autodesk’s BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools such as the Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, and 3ds Max. These tools are used in our projects for the design, structural analysis, model rendering, geo-engineering and other purposes, so appraising the latest methods, techniques and newest version capabilities of these tools is of an utmost importance for the assurance and expansion of the quality of our engineering services.

Inarguably, the key element that our employees got to learn more about during this training was the “cloud collaboration platform” capabilities that give us an advantage over the competition by allowing us to offer an unprecedented level of services on that part. More specifically, we can now integrate our collaboration between Revit and AutoCAD, so our clients, subcontractors, and partners can work with us without delays and misunderstandings as everyone can login on the cloud platform and seamlessly contribute on the central design concept. Moreover, our field surveyors can now use ReCap Pro to upload testing data that they captured with a laser scanner on the cloud, saving much time and effort in the process. Other interrelated design procedures such as importing a design project from InfraWorks to Civil 3D for analysis becomes easier and more integrated, and the same applies to all steps, from the folder submission to the hand-over documentation.

This level of workflow optimization, interoperability, and efficiency is something that we are achieving step by step, staying in-sync with the latest technological developments in our field and being one of the few first to apply them extensively in our procedures, always to the benefit of our clients and with respect to their own special requirements.
